B Lab is a global nonprofit that works to transform the economy so it benefits people, communities, and the planet. It supports the movement behind Certified B Corporations, bringing together businesses committed to verified social, environmental, and governance practices and collective action. Its community spans more than 100 countries and a wide range of industries, reflecting B Lab’s focus on systemic change beyond individual company certification.

B Lab develops the B Lab Standards, a framework for assessing business practices, and provides information and resources for companies pursuing or maintaining B Corp Certification. Certification involves independent verification and encourages businesses to measure and manage their impact, consider stakeholders in decision-making, and pursue continuous improvement. B Lab also offers access to B Impact, an impact management platform that helps companies measure their performance.
