Brown Design Group is a Pittsburgh-area landscape architecture and construction firm that creates and cares for outdoor spaces. With more than 25 years of experience, the company combines landscape design expertise with construction knowledge to turn clients’ ideas into thoughtfully planned environments. Led by George Brown, its team works with clients to understand their lifestyles, preferences, budgets, and site conditions, then develops designs that consider layout, materials, colors, textures, and other sensory details.
The firm’s services include landscape architecture and design, landscape construction, and ongoing property care for its Design-Build clients. Its process moves from an initial consultation and site visit through preliminary and final designs, with guidance on materials, project elements, layout, and budget. During construction, designers collaborate with the construction manager and skilled in-house personnel to help carry the approved vision through to completion. Regular maintenance visits support the landscape’s original design intent while allowing for care and adjustments as it matures. Brown Design Group aims to provide a coordinated experience from concept and construction to long-term care.
