About BdOSN
BdOSN (Bangladesh Open Source Network) is a non-profit, voluntary organization that was launched in Dhaka on October 24, 2005. Registered under the Societies Act as Bangladesh Open Source Network Foundation, BdOSN aims to create a diverse community where open source and open content volunteers and professionals can exchange ideas and undertake innovative initiatives. Over the years, BdOSN has evolved into an independent organization with partnerships with other open-source-based organizations and individuals.
With a vibrant community of open-source enthusiasts, BdOSN offers a range of programs and projects designed to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing. From the Hour of Code and Ada Lovelace Celebration to CodeRace and Girls in ICT, BdOSN provides opportunities for skill development, innovation, and career growth. It also conducts sessions on mathematics, science, programming, and other STEM subjects, empowering young girls in coastal areas with essential IT skills.
