BEAC is a ground up initiative that promotes equality and diversity in the city-building professions. Our organization aims to support, celebrate, and connect practitioners working in architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, urban planning, and the construction industry. BEAC uses an intersectional and cross-disciplinary approach to support leadership, mentorship, and networking opportunities in our professional community. We host events and public lectures; work to generate awareness and dialogue around inclusive practices and addressing barriers; and celebrate the multiplicity of voices, hands, and minds who plan and design our communities. In collaboration with BEAT Toronto, BEA Vancouver/Victoria, BEAAtlantic, and BEAPrairies we work to connect and support design and planning professionals across Canada.

BEACalgary is a brand that believes in the power of open dialogue and good food to bring people together. With their BEA Dinner series, they create a space for intimate conversation between established leaders and emerging city-building professionals. These dinners aim to empower individuals and build a stronger community through shared stories.
The upcoming BEA Dinner will feature a special guest, Nichola Sinclair Foreman, who will share her experience from the Project Management and Contractor side of the table. Attendees will have the opportunity to break bread with Nichola and learn from her expertise.
Tickets for the event are priced at $60.00 and include a beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), a multi-course meal, taxes, and gratuity. However, availability is limited, so it is recommended to secure your spot through Eventbrite.
The dinner will take place at Fire and Flora, located at 227 11 Ave SW, on Wednesday, September 28th, starting at 6:00 pm. A family-style meal will be served, featuring a seasonal menu. The organizers request that attendees inform them in advance of any allergies or dietary preferences.
Join BEACalgary and their special guest for an immersive dining experience that combines delicious food with meaningful conversations.
