Welcome to Beannachar, a Camphill Training Centre for young adults with special needs. Situated in the countryside on the outskirts of Aberdeen, just two miles from the city centre, Beannachar offers a therapeutic and supportive environment for its students. At Beannachar, students can benefit from a range of services and opportunities.

The community consists of a large 19th-century house, with one house community (Silver Birch) and two purpose-built houses, Rose and Linden. There are also various workshops available, including weaving, wool processing, woodwork, rug making, leatherwork, laundry, and herb processing. Additionally, there is co-worker accommodation and a beautiful walled garden, farm, sports area, and extensive woodland covering 28 acres of ground.

With a focus on inclusivity and personal development, Beannachar aims to create a nurturing and secure environment where students can thrive. The community comprises approximately 75 people, offering registered residential and day places for up to 36 young adults with learning support needs. Staffing consists of live-in staff, employed staff, and temporary live-in volunteers.
