Bear Grylls Camp

Bear Grylls Explorers Camp is an outdoor adventure destination in the mountains of Jebel Jais, Ras Al Khaimah, offering survival training, active experiences and cabin stays inspired by Bear Grylls’ approach to courage, resilience and self-discovery. Designed for beginners and experienced adventurers alike, its programmes welcome individuals, families, schools and corporate teams. Survival courses range from a four-hour introduction to core skills, such as shelter-building and water purification, to six-hour and 24-hour challenges covering fire-lighting, navigation, shelter construction and spending a night outdoors.

The camp also provides mountain cabins with warm beds, private bathrooms and views of Jebel Jais. Activities include rock climbing, Via Ferrata, archery, axe throwing, air rifle shooting, a ropes course, hiking and abseiling. Sessions are led by trained instructors, with safety equipment and protocols provided for activities.

Bear Grylls’ team designs the programmes, which are developed by the local instructors using techniques drawn from his survival experiences. The camp offers a setting for visitors to build practical outdoor skills, challenge themselves and enjoy the natural landscape
