About BEATS GALLERY
BEATS GALLERY is an independent photography gallery located in Nakakagaya, Suminoe Ward, Osaka. It presents a changing program of creative work, including photography, books and zines, and video, with exhibitions rotating weekly. Alongside showcasing artists’ work, the gallery aims to encourage communication and connections among creators.
Visitors can explore current and upcoming exhibitions, a calendar and archive of past shows, and online galleries featuring work from multiple years. BEATS GALLERY also invites artists to take part in open exhibition opportunities, including individual, group, and curated shows. Its listings include portrait and street photography projects, film-photography events, and calls for gallery members.
The gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.; it is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. It is an eight-minute walk from Exit 1 of Kitakagaya Station on the Osaka Metro Yotsubashi Line, or a short walk from the Nakakagaya Nichome bus stop.
