Beautiful Births

Beautiful Births provides hypnobirthing and birth-preparation support for expectant parents across Cumbria, the South Lakes and Ulverston. Led by Kerry Bailey, a fully qualified Calm Births Hypnobirthing teacher, the service helps families approach labour and birth with greater understanding, confidence and calm. Its course combines hypnobirthing techniques with practical antenatal education, explaining the physical and hormonal changes that occur during labour and helping parents work with their bodies, minds and babies.

Participants learn tools including deep relaxation, simple breathing techniques and light-touch massage, with practical guidance for birth partners too. The aim is to support and empower each family to shape a positive birth experience, whether the birth is vaginal or by caesarean section. Beautiful Births recognises that pregnancy and birth can bring a range of feelings, including fear, anxiety and excitement, and offers supportive guidance through this pivotal time. The website also features reviews and birth stories shared by parents, alongside information about hypnobirthing and ways to book a course.
