Bosom Friends, also known as Barnoldswick and Earby Bosom Friends, is a registered charity supporting people affected by cancer in East Lancashire and West Yorkshire. Its aim is to help ensure that no one has to face cancer alone, whether they are coming to terms with a diagnosis, undergoing treatment, celebrating remission, living with terminal illness, or grieving a loss. Support is also available to family members and loved ones.
The charity offers emotional support and practical help, alongside free monthly gatherings that bring people together to share experiences and find understanding. Support meetings take place on the first Tuesday of each month, bereavement groups on the second Tuesday, and relaxed coffee mornings on the first Saturday. These welcoming sessions provide opportunities to connect with others affected by cancer and build a sense of community.
