Santander Open Academy is Banco Santander’s non-profit initiative supporting education, employability and entrepreneurship. Its free online learning platform is open to everyone, whether or not they are Santander customers, and lets learners choose subjects, levels and schedules to study at their own pace. The academy offers more than 1,000 courses, learning resources and scholarships designed to build skills and help people access better opportunities.

Its programs cover areas including business, financial health, sustainability, leadership, languages and technology. Featured courses include high-performance leadership lessons inspired by Formula 1, an introduction to artificial intelligence with Google Gemini, and digital marketing in partnership with the University of Chicago. Alongside courses, the academy provides study grants and mobility grants, as well as access to learning and job opportunities intended to support professional growth.

Santander Open Academy builds on Banco Santander’s long-standing investment in education and opportunity. The organization reports more than 30 years of support, over €2.5 billion invested, and more than 8.3 million people and businesses supported.
