We provide direct technical support through data collection, research, and report preparation; facilitate public engagement through education and outreach; and provide oversight or management of environmental projects and programs. Our claim to fame is our management of brownfields projects. BEC has successfully managed brownfield projects for both federal and state brownfields programs since 2002. We maintain a unique understanding of all aspects of the program and have actively engaged many of EPA’s 33 federal agency brownfields partners to successfully complete brownfields projects. Similarly, we have established relationships with stakeholder representatives critical to the successful implementation of the brownfields program – from site identification through the redevelopment process.
