BECOME Interiors is an independent interior design studio founded by Maria Chandler in 2018 and based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. The studio creates characterful, joyful homes designed around the people who live in them, balancing personal style with everyday practicality. Its approach helps clients make better use of their space, address clutter and storage challenges, and create interiors that feel connected to their individual tastes and stories.

Services include personalised design consultations, functional space planning, tailored design schemes, and custom storage solutions. Maria helps clients select colours, patterns, textures, materials, finishes, and furnishings, offering expert guidance to those who want to make bolder choices. Projects range from individual rooms to broader home renovations, with designs shaped around each client’s needs, preferences, and lifestyle.

After an early career in web design and teaching, Maria trained at KLC School of Design. Inspired by nature and drawn to colour and pattern, she works collaboratively with both first-time renovators and more experienced clients.
