About National Bed Federation
The National Bed Federation is the recognized trade association representing UK manufacturers of beds and their suppliers. Established in 1912, the NBF is dedicated to promoting and supporting the bed industry in the UK. With its members accounting for approximately 75% of the total UK bedding turnover, they are committed to maintaining high standards and fostering innovation within the industry.
The NBF offers a range of resources and services to its members, including a code of practice, due diligence testing program, and training and education opportunities. They also provide marketing support and sales incentives to help their members grow their businesses. In addition, the NBF is dedicated to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Their goal is to divert 75% of new mattress sales from landfill by 2028 through their NBF Green initiative, which includes ecodesign principles and recycling reports.
