Bee-Family is a Swiss beekeeping and bee-protection project based in Frasnacht, dedicated to the wellbeing and continued establishment of bees. The family places nature and responsible beekeeping at the heart of its work, using careful, natural practices that prioritize the health of the colonies and the quality of their habitat. Recognizing the importance of bees in pollinating crops and wild plants, Bee-Family considers plant diversity and living conditions as part of its approach to supporting them.
The project’s main product is premium honey, offered in a range of varietal types. According to Bee-Family, the honey is gathered by bees in low-impact environments, harvested fairly and with respect, and handled carefully from comb to jar. Its quality standards include natural, high-quality, residue-free and varietal honey, packaged in violet glass to protect it from harmful light and tested by certified institutes for quality and residues.
Customers can purchase honey through the online shop or support the project through a bee sponsorship.
