BeechwoodCemetery

Beechwood is an Ottawa-based provider of funeral, cemetery, and cremation services, owned by the Beechwood Cemetery Foundation and operated by The Beechwood Cemetery Company. Its offerings support individuals and families before and after a death, with advance planning, prearrangements, funeral services, cremation, burial, and a range of remembrance options. Families can explore casket selection, urns, monuments, memorialization, facilities, receptions, and room rentals, as well as resources for planning a personalized service. Beechwood also provides executor guidance and grief support, including its Grief Companion Workbook and educational materials on death literacy and cemetery planning.

The organization serves diverse communities and maintains dedicated areas and memorials, including the National Military Cemetery and national memorial cemeteries for the RCMP and CSIS. Its wider work includes cemetery care, horticultural and green programs, historical tours, events, and initiatives focused on remembrance and Canadian heritage. The Beechwood Cemetery Foundation operates on a not-for-profit basis and raises donations to support community programs and the preservation of Beechwood as a National Historic Site and the National Cemetery of Canada.
