BEELOSOPHY

Beelosophy is a nature- and culture-focused initiative inspired by the world of bees. It brings communities together to promote environmental awareness, protect pollinators, and keep local traditions alive. Its work connects education, heritage, creativity, and sustainability, with programmes delivered in places including the Cyclades, Crete, Rhodes, Attica, and Kythera.

Beelosophy offers educational activities for schools and communities, using traditional beehives as practical learning tools and helping children explore nature and biodiversity. Its projects also celebrate traditional crafts, occupations, local foods, and cultural heritage, alongside contemporary visual arts and storytelling. Resources include educational e-books for different school age groups, cultural videos, and stories about bees and local communities. The organisation also hosts events and supports activities such as creating pollinator-friendly schoolyards and raising awareness about local ecosystems.

In the last two years, Beelosophy reports that its initiatives involved more than 2,000 participants, reached over 50 schools, produced 130 artworks, and included 20 events.
