Beer Bastards is one of the most fun Bulgarian breweries with a rich portfolio of light and dark beers. Our journey in the world of craft beer began in 2016 with the opening of a craft beer bar in our hometown of Burgas. A few months later, we brewed our first beer in the Netherlands.

From the very beginning, our mission has been to create unique beers in our own style using the best ingredients we can find, educate the local community, and build a craft beer community. Over the past 6 years, we have brewed over 50 different beers in breweries all over Europe and formed inspiring relationships with brewers from whom we have learned a lot. We have come a long way since our first beer in 2016.

Through improving quality, finding better suppliers and breweries to brew our beer, we have learned so much. We were the first craft beer project in Bulgaria to switch to recyclable cans and minimize our carbon footprint. We have embarked on crazy collaborations with breweries from all over Europe, using local and foreign ingredients.

At Beer Bastards, we offer a wide range of light and dark beers. We experiment with different styles of beer, such as IPA and Porter/Stout, and even explore unique and unconventional styles like Gose/Berliner Weisse. Our beers are known for their quality and exceptional taste, and our flagship beer, Basi Kefa, has been ranked number one in Bulgaria according to Ratebeer.
