Beerdigungsinstitut Wohlert

Beerdigungsinstitut Wohlert is a family-run funeral home in Bad Segeberg, Germany, supporting families with experienced, compassionate guidance before and after a bereavement. The institute traces its roots to Beerdigungsinstitut Bartels, established in 1879, and has been owned by the Wohlert family since 1984. Families can arrange a personal consultation at the institute or at home, with their wishes guiding the planning of a dignified farewell.

Services include 24-hour telephone support, care and transportation of the deceased, help with official formalities and death certificates, and coordination with churches and cemeteries. The team arranges earth, cremation, sea and tree burials, and helps plan individual funeral ceremonies, notices, condolence letters, flowers and music. Facilities include a farewell room for small gatherings, casket and urn displays, and dedicated care and cooling rooms.

Wohlert also offers funeral pre-planning, advice on burial options and costs, and assistance with international transfers and memorial jewellery. Its accessible premises have parking nearby, and tailored cost estimates are available following a consultation.
