About Beer Jerk
Beer Jerk is a brand that is passionate about bringing the most interesting beers to their members. Established in 2015, Beer Jerk started as a side project by a group of friends who wanted to share their love for great beers across New Zealand. Their core subscription product is reminiscent of a book club, but instead of books, members receive a curated selection of unique and exciting craft beers.
What sets Beer Jerk apart is their dedication to sourcing beer only from independent breweries. They believe in knowing the stories and the people behind the beers they offer. Despite their success, Beer Jerk remains a small organization with just three full-time staff members, including Luke, the Director, Matt handling the online side, and Joe in fulfillment.
In addition to their subscription service, Beer Jerk now also runs a bar and shop called The Fridge & Flagon in Auckland. They even have a running club where participants can enjoy a 5km run followed by a refreshing beer. Whether you're a beer connoisseur or simply interested in discovering new and remarkable beers, Beer Jerk is your go-to brand for quality and unique craft beers
