Before The Dates is a celebration-planning service designed to help people remember and mark the occasions that matter. Through its app, users can schedule personalized messages and optional gifts in advance for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, holidays, and other events, including “just because” moments. The process is straightforward: select an occasion, choose the date and time, write a message, and, if desired, pick a gift from participating vendors. Before The Dates then coordinates delivery, helping users celebrate without having to manage each detail on the day.

The service supports scheduling for multiple occasions and sends users a notification when a message or gift has been delivered. Scheduled messages can be canceled, while gift cancellations require at least three days’ notice before the shipping date. Gift options are offered through a variety of vendors and include examples such as flowers and personalized keepsakes. In addition to serving individuals, Before The Dates invites vendors to participate in its platform.
