Beginental

Beginental Lamas & Alpakas is a small animal-focused business in Alsdorf that has kept New World camelids since 2011. Its work brings people closer to llamas and alpacas through memorable experiences, educational activities and support for the animals’ care. Visitors can book a taster session, reserve a picnic spot, join yoga with llamas and alpacas, or take part in Kumihimo activities. The business also offers animal-assisted education and hosts events, including gatherings for animal sponsors.

Guests can learn about the herd and meet its llamas and alpacas, while supporters can contribute through animal sponsorships or donations specifically for suitable feed. Beginental emphasizes that the animals have sensitive digestive systems and cannot be fed fruit, vegetables, bread or other treats brought by visitors. Its online shop sells alpaca-related products, including items made from the herd’s fleece, such as hand-knitting yarn and carded fiber, as well as a wall calendar. The site also shares herd news, event updates and information about its team, animals and animal-care activities.
