Be Gr8 Basketball Academy is a youth basketball program serving the South Bay Beach Cities and wider Los Angeles area in California. Its focus is helping young athletes enjoy the game while building the skills, confidence, and sportsmanship needed to grow on and off the court. Guided by the motto “Focus on the FUNdamentals,” the Academy teaches technical basketball skills that can carry over into team play, with attention to each athlete’s individual development.
Programs are available for children ages 5 to 14 and include weekly skills classes for Bitty Ballers, Juniors, and Seniors, organized by age group. Athletes can also choose one-on-one private training, semi-private sessions for two or three players, small-group training for four or more, guest coach team training, and club teams. The Academy additionally offers summer basketball camps and homeschool physical education sessions. Founded and directed by Coach Shaun, who brings more than 20 years of coaching experience, Be Gr8 aims to foster a fun, competitive, and supportive environment where young players can develop their game and grow as individuals.
