Begrafenisonderneming Treur

Begrafenisonderneming Treur is a small funeral business based in Huis ter Heide, serving people through the difficult period following the loss of someone close. Its approach is personal and respectful, emphasizing support “from person to person” and standing alongside families rather than above them. The business works from a Christian perspective and aims to inform and advise while leaving decisions in the hands of the bereaved.

Treur assists with the practical arrangements that follow a death, beginning after the family has contacted a doctor and the funeral service. Staff can discuss care of the deceased with relatives, including the option of participating in the care, and help arrange a viewing at home, in a church or at a funeral centre. The company’s services include funeral planning, hearses, pallbearers and catering. It also provides information about costs and offers resources such as a will and wishes booklet and a condolence register. Families can contact Begrafenisonderneming Treur by phone or email for guidance and support at an important and often overwhelming time.
