Begravningsbyrå Nygård

Begravningsbyrå Nygård is a funeral services provider serving Nykarleby, Oravais, Vörå, Maxmo and the surrounding area. Led by funeral director Joel Nygård, the family-focused agency helps people manage practical arrangements during a difficult time and create a personal, meaningful farewell. Its staff are available by phone around the clock, with office hours on weekdays and appointments at other times. Free home visits are also available.

Services include funeral planning, a selection of Finnish-made coffins and urns, and transport throughout the Nordic countries. The agency coordinates funeral flowers and decorations with Blombutik Lilja, which shares its Nykarleby premises, and offers access to gravestones made from Finnish natural stone through its partner Kivilähde. It can arrange inscriptions and gilding for existing stones, help organize memorial gatherings, and coordinate ash scattering at sea with Huhta & Finne. Additional support includes estate inventory assistance through Juristbyrå Kenneth Lassus, grave-care services such as straightening and cleaning gravestones, and a selection of memorial verses for condolences, funerals and obituaries.
