Bekken Expert

Bekken Expert Ilse van Kesteren is a specialist practice providing care for pelvic and pelvic floor complaints in adults and children. Based in Voorhout and Roelofarendsveen, the practice takes a broad approach to assessment and treatment, combining specialised pelvic therapy with fascial therapy through the BekkenMethode® concept. It also offers specialist guidance for parents and children dealing with toilet training and continence difficulties through the KinderBekkenMethode®.

Services address a wide range of concerns, including lower back, pelvic and tailbone pain; continence problems; and discomfort in the pelvic floor area. Support is available during pregnancy and after childbirth, including checks of the pelvis and pelvic floor following delivery. For children, the practice addresses issues such as difficulty becoming toilet-trained, constipation, urinary tract infections, abdominal pain, and fear of urinating or having a bowel movement.
