Landsforeningen kvinnelig bekkenleddhelse (LKB) is a Norwegian association supporting women who experience pelvic girdle pain. Its work focuses on sharing reliable, evidence-based information, helping people find appropriate support, and promoting greater awareness, research, and knowledge about women’s health among healthcare professionals. LKB aims to help people feel less alone and to encourage access to the right help at the right time.

The association offers information for people who are pregnant, have given birth, or continue to experience pelvic girdle pain. Its online resources cover the condition, practical tips, recognised treatment approaches, adjustments, relaxation, and diagnosis and care. LKB also provides informational films for people affected, their families, and healthcare professionals, with guidance relevant both before and after birth.

For personal support, people can contact trained volunteers who have experienced pelvic girdle pain themselves; the service is confidential and may include listening and sharing practical suggestions. LKB also produces the “Knute i kroppen” podcast about women’s health, pelvic girdle health, and everyday life, and provides specialist information for healthcare professionals.
