Bel’Ane is a small donkey farm in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region of France, dedicated to breeding miniature and small-sized donkeys. The farm introduces visitors to the animals, their breeds and everyday care, and offers opportunities to enjoy their company through farm visits, outdoor activities and walks. Donkeys can be welcomed for a few hours or days through rental, or adopted permanently; the site also provides information for people considering buying a young donkey.
Bel’Ane presents these calm, affectionate animals as companions for adults and children and as part of outdoor leisure activities. Its activities extend to educational farming and events, alongside an eco-responsible approach that includes a worm farm and sales of vermicompost. From 2025, Bel’Ane is separating into three partner farms and redirects visitors seeking farm visits or young donkeys for sale to those partners
