Introducing Belladonna* Collaborative, a brand that celebrates female and feminist writers who push boundaries with their adventurous, experimental, and politically engaged work. At Belladonna*, we are dedicated to fostering a literary community for women and LGBTQIA+ authors who challenge the norm. Our publications go beyond traditional plot-driven narratives, instead offering situational, inter-subjective, and performative pieces that question the gender binary.
Since 1999, we have been hosting captivating readings and salons in New York City and online, creating a rich audiovisual archive. In addition, our full-length poetry books have garnered critical acclaim and multiple printings. In 2020, we launched Matters of Feminist Practice, a thought-provoking journal that brings together diverse scholars, writers, poets, and artists to explore feminist practice.
And in 2021, we proudly introduced the Belladonna* School for Feminist Practice and Poetics, an experimental workshop series.
