Bellanpraktijk

Bellan Praktijk is an intercultural therapy and coaching practice founded by Jmiaa Bellan, a therapist and relationship counsellor with experience of life between Moroccan and Dutch cultures. Based in Noordwijk, the practice supports individuals and couples navigating cultural differences, communication difficulties, recurring conflict, and differing expectations about roles and relationships. Relationship therapy is available in Dutch and Moroccan Arabic, helping both partners feel heard and understood in a safe, respectful setting.

Services include relationship therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, RET therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and Emotional Detox. The practice also offers courses, including a deeper relationship course, as well as resources for therapists and coaches. For healthcare professionals, government bodies, and social support workers, Bellan Praktijk provides intercultural guidance to help clarify a client’s needs and build effective contact with Arabic-speaking clients. Workshops in intercultural communication are also available. Sessions take place in Noordwijk, with Zoom appointments offered for people who find travel difficult.
