Main St. Marathon

Belleville Main Street Marathon is a premier running event set to take place on September 28, 2024, in historic Belleville, Illinois, near downtown St. Louis. Organized by the Belleville Running Club and Toolen’s Running Start, the marathon offers both a full and half marathon option on a certified Boston Marathon-qualifying course. Participants will enjoy running a portion of America’s longest Main Street, amidst vibrant city streets and scenic trails.

The event promises comprehensive support, including water stations every two miles and post-race refreshments from local Belleville restaurants. Awards will be presented to top finishers across various categories, including age divisions and wheelchair participants, ensuring recognition for both elite and amateur runners alike. All participants receive a finisher medal, and those registering before September 14 are guaranteed a commemorative event shirt.
