Belmont Youth Basketball

Belmont Youth Basketball Association (BYBA) is a community basketball organization serving young players in Belmont through recreational, competitive, and developmental programs. Its In-Town program is open to students in grades 3–8 and aims to balance skill levels across teams. Games are held locally on Saturdays, with short practices before each game. High school students coach the grades 5–8 teams, and parent volunteers support the association’s programs.

For players seeking greater commitment and competition, BYBA offers a Travel Program. Teams compete against teams from other towns and generally have one or two practices each week and one or two weekend games. For the 2026–27 season, BYBA plans to offer travel basketball for grades 4–8 and is working toward a grade 3 pilot program; registration for grades 4–8 is closed.

BYBA Rookies is a nine-week, skills-focused developmental program for second graders, with sessions on Saturday mornings. The association also provides basketball fundamentals and practical resources, including schedules, gym directions, policies, and information for coaches, referees, and families.
