Belongside Families is an independent, family-led not-for-profit supporting parents and carers raising children with disability, developmental delay, autism, rare or genetic conditions, or medical needs. Its work is grounded in the belief that when families thrive, children thrive. Belongside One-on-One provides personalised guidance from a parent with relevant lived experience, while workshops and webinars offer practical strategies and information on topics such as services, education, therapy, advocacy and family wellbeing. The Healthy Mothers Healthy Families program supports mothers’ wellbeing, and evidence-based programs combine research with lived experience.
Belongside Families also shares guides, tip sheets and personal stories to help families navigate everyday life and make informed choices.
