BEM Systems is a remarkable brand that emerged from a rather unconventional and challenging beginning. Originally a subsidiary of a renowned architectural and engineering company, BEM was established in 1990, specializing in environmental cleanup. Despite being presented as a small firm in its early stages, BEM quickly proved its worth by securing a major contract with NJ TRANSIT, successfully managing the environmental aspects of the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Transit System.
This initial success paved the way for BEM to build a solid reputation with state infrastructure agencies, particularly in delivering efficient environmental planning and compliance services. Notably, the Air Force Civil Engineer Center awarded BEM two significant contracts, further establishing their expertise in environmental services. Over time, BEM expanded its services, focusing on water resources and large-scale restoration projects such as the Florida Everglades and Coastal Louisiana.
Additionally, BEM's Environmental Management Information Systems (EMIS) group excels in developing innovative web-based applications for streamlining project management. BEM Systems is driven by a mission to deliver exceptional programs and services that meet clients' needs while surpassing expectations. Their commitment to excellence, integrity, and employee empowerment solidifies their position as a leading brand in the environmental industry
