Ben Dalziel

Ben Dalziel is a technical product leader based in San Marcos, California, focused on platforms and the teams that build them. His work brings together engineering, product strategy, and design, with an emphasis on creating useful software and delivering meaningful outcomes. Across his career, he has helped organizations build products from the ground up, establish product functions, and guide technical direction.

At Slytrunk, where he has served as Chief Product Officer since 2017, Ben joined as an early engineer and expanded his role to include product and design. He shaped strategy for a fan platform used by Williams F1 Team and later the U.S. SailGP Team, and developed an AI strategy that shifted engineering toward AI-directed work. Concurrently, he leads product for new ventures at Trash Panda, an early-stage consumer app, contributing hands-on across the stack. His work there includes rebuilding the website, enabling web-to-app subscription purchases, and creating business intelligence infrastructure and dashboards.

Ben is especially interested in technology that can support communities and underserved people.
