Bendigo Athletic Club

**Brand Description**

Bendigo Athletic Club, established in 1974, is a vibrant and inclusive community dedicated to cross-country running in central Victoria. Located in the picturesque Bendigo region, the club welcomes athletes of all ages, genders, and skill levels, promoting health, fitness, and a spirit of fun. The running season runs from April to September, allowing members to participate in both distance and middle-distance events every Sunday morning amidst the calming bushland.

Members enjoy a supportive environment where the focus is less on competitive times and more on personal health and enjoyment. The club also hosts various events, including the popular Mandurang 5km and extra handicap races, and recognizes outstanding achievements through awards and recognition on their Honour Board. Bendigo Athletic Club not only fosters athletic prowess but also builds lasting friendships among its members, maintaining the legacy of influential figures like John Burke, who greatly contributed to its culture. Join us for a journey toward fitness and community spirit!
