Ben Edom

Ben Edom is a surf-ski coaching and ocean-paddling brand led by Benjamin Edom, who describes himself as a soul surfer and brings a lifetime of experience to sharing the sea with others. His approach centers on the enjoyment, freedom and practical skills of paddling a ski on the ocean, with an emphasis on building confidence and developing sound technique.

Ben Edom offers courses for paddlers at different stages. Improver coaching is designed for people with little or no surf-ski experience and some knowledge of paddling. It introduces fundamental principles, safety considerations and techniques that participants can practise at home. Intermediate coaching is for paddlers with some experience on a ski or in other disciplines, and focuses on ski-specific seamanship and paddling skills, encouraging a more focused, proactive approach.

For those ready to progress further, the Four Day Intensive builds on established surfski or other paddling experience. It is intended to help participants improve performance, paddle faster with greater relaxation, and become more attuned to the ocean.
