Bennett Compost

Bennett Compost is a brand dedicated to making composting easy and accessible for everyone, even if you live in an apartment. Their goal is to help you reduce waste and create nutrient-rich soil for your plants. Here's how it works: They provide specially designed buckets with snap-on lids to keep smells and pests at bay.

You can fill these buckets with a wide range of compostable materials like apple cores, weeds, and newspaper. Bennett Compost will pick up your bucket weekly, taking care of the rest. What sets Bennett Compost apart is that their compost is locally sourced from a blend of food scraps, wood chips, and leaves from their residential and commercial clients in Philadelphia.

They transform these materials into high-quality compost through aerated piles. You can also shop their locally made soil products, including potting mix, rice hulls, compost, and vermicompost, which all provide numerous benefits for your plants. Delivery is free for bagged products in Philadelphia, and you can even purchase bulk compost with convenient delivery options.
