Beogradski Zoološki Vrt, also known as the Garden of Good Hope, is the oldest and largest zoo in Serbia, established on July 12, 1936. Located within the historic walls of the Belgrade Fortress at Mali Kalemegdan, this vibrant zoo attracts over 400,000 visitors annually, making it one of the city’s most popular attractions.
Home to more than 1,000 animals across 200 different species, the zoo offers guests an immersive experience in a lush, safe environment, where they can observe various fascinating species from around the globe, such as Asian elephants, white lions, and lemurs.
