Be Queer Make Stuff is the creative brand and community of Embry, a non-binary sewist who makes gender-affirming clothing inspired by history, textile art, and other creative influences. After beginning to sew in 2019, Embry found a lasting passion for the craft and a way to explore personal style and body comfort. The work also reflects a broader aim: making sewing more welcoming to trans, non-binary, and gender-fluid people whose bodies and needs may not be served by traditional patterns and approaches.

Through Be Queer Make Stuff, visitors can find sewing patterns for purchase, including patterns promoted through Ko-fi, and follow Embry’s sewing and creative work on YouTube, Instagram, Bluesky, and the blog. The brand also offers ways to support Embry through Patreon, which provides access to a Discord community for trans and allied sewists.
