Bergblick Alpakas

Bergblick Alpakas is a family-run alpaca farm and breeding business in the Chiemgau region of Bavaria, in the district of Traunstein. Christian and Astrid Aicher began their herd with two female alpacas in 2014 and have since developed a small, carefully tended herd. Their breeding program focuses on raising healthy alpacas in a range of colors, with correct conformation and fine, dense fleece characterized by shine and crimp. The owners also place importance on gentle handling, patiently teaching young alpacas to lead with a halter. Visitors are welcome to contact the farm to arrange an opportunity to meet the owners and their animals.

Bergblick Alpakas also offers products made from alpaca fiber through its Wollwelt collection. These include soft alpaca blankets, hand-knitted goods, alpaca yarn, and duvets filled with wool from the farm’s own alpacas. Its range also features felt insoles and handmade natural soaps. The farm shares news about its animals, breeding, and products, and has presented its hand-knitted items at Christmas markets.
