Bergen Dykkeklubb is an active, inclusive diving club based in Alvøen, west of central Bergen, Norway. Established in 2004, the club welcomes sports divers of different ages and experience levels, from beginners to seasoned members, and offers adapted opportunities for divers with special needs. Its focus is on safe, enjoyable diving, shared experience, and good routines.
The club organizes regular boat trips in the Bergen area every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout the year. Trips use Døkki, a 32-foot boat with space for up to ten divers and a skipper, plus equipment storage and a platform with steps for easier boarding after dives. Qualified assistance and a dive leader are onboard, and club diving follows Norwegian Diving Federation guidelines, with oxygen and a dive leader present. Members of other clubs affiliated with the federation are also welcome to join.
At its clubhouse in Alvøen, Bergen Dykkeklubb provides air filling and nitrox. The club also offers membership, diving trips, and courses, with trip registration and payment handled through Spond.
