About Bergenwater
Bergenwater is a nature-focused campsite on a working wine farm in Rawsonville, Western Cape, about an hour’s drive from Cape Town. Set among vineyards, mountains and a river, it offers a peaceful rural escape with sweeping scenery, birdsong and the sound of running water. Visitors can camp on grassy sites, including locations beside the river, and enjoy shared ablution facilities with hot and cold showers, flushing toilets and electrical outlets.
Braai stands are provided, and the campsite welcomes tents, caravans, motorhomes and bush wagons. Activities include swimming, mountain biking, hiking, bird watching and exploring a 4 x 4 route. Nearby, the Rawsonville area offers wine cellars and restaurants for guests wishing to venture beyond the farm.
Bergenwater provides camping by the night, with standard and premium riverside site rates and minimum-stay requirements on weekends and long weekends. Private group bookings are available subject to minimum attendance and booking conditions. The campsite does not allow pets or air conditioners, citing power restrictions
