About Berget
Berget is a Christian community founded in 1962, dedicated to promoting spiritual deepening and unity within the Church. The community welcomes members from various denominations, offering retreats, courses, and worship services. Berget consists of two houses: S:t David, focusing on retreats, silence, and worship, and Meditation, offering courses in contemplative meditation and spiritual guidance.
Daily Eucharistic celebrations and the liturgy of the hours shape the community's life. In an ecumenical spirit, Lutherans and Catholics attend each other's Masses and receive blessings. Friends of Berget support the community through prayer, gifts, and practical work.
