About Bergstrampler
Bergstrampler is a family support and baby-care service based in Heidelberg, helping parents prepare for and navigate the early stages of life with a baby. Its approach centers on individualized, holistic guidance, with the aim of giving families and babies a positive start and supporting bonding, responsive baby care, and a confident breastfeeding relationship. Before birth, Bergstrampler offers courses in infant care and preparation for the postpartum period and breastfeeding.
After birth, workshops provide practical information about breastfeeding, introducing complementary foods, and making the transition to shared family meals. Parents can also access individual breastfeeding consultations and ongoing support tailored to their wishes and circumstances. The service includes a Baby Café as another offering for families.
Bergstrampler’s guidance is designed to accompany parents across different stages, from preparation through life with a newborn. Courses are held at St. Elisabeth Hospital in Heidelberg, with online or on-site arrangements available when needed
