Berkshire AA Intergroup

Berkshire AA Intergroup is a local Alcoholics Anonymous service organization supporting AA groups and members throughout Berkshire County, Massachusetts, in Area 31. Guided by the fellowship’s primary purpose, it helps coordinate local AA activities and provides information, resources, and opportunities for service. Its website offers regularly updated schedules for in-person, online, and hybrid meetings, along with details about group changes, events, and monthly intergroup meetings.

The organization maintains a 24-hour telephone answering service, with volunteers returning calls from people seeking help with drinking. It also operates an office in Pittsfield that serves as a communication and information center and provides local groups and committees with access to AA literature. Members can find resources including the Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book, Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, and Grapevine publications.

Through its Institutions Committee, Berkshire AA Intergroup helps members bring AA meetings and recovery support into local facilities and assists people transitioning from institutions to the wider AA community through Bridging the Gap.
