About Jeunes réfugiés de Bernanos | Strasbourg
Jeunes réfugiés de Bernanos | Strasbourg is an association that manages a small student residence and rental spaces for various associations, primarily for student and social activities. Their statutes prioritize solidarity towards the most vulnerable. Since winter 2016, they have been providing shelter for young migrant minors who were living on the streets.
Currently, about thirty minors between the ages of 15 and 18, legally residing in France but awaiting recognition of their rights, are housed at Centre Bernanos. These young individuals have left their home countries due to poverty or war. Bernanos offers them a place to stay and food, but their living conditions remain challenging.
The association's specialized educators accompany them in all aspects of their lives, including education, healthcare, and administrative support. Jeunes réfugiés de Bernanos warmly welcomes support and donations to continue their vital work in providing refuge and assistance for these young migrants
