Berthe Restaurant

Berthe is a bistronomic restaurant and wine bar in Port Marianne, Montpellier, offering homemade French cuisine in an elegant, intimate and welcoming setting. Open from 8 a.m. to midnight, it welcomes guests for coffee, lunch, dinner or an aperitif, and is closed on Sundays. The interior, designed by Montpellier architect Romain Beziat, combines art deco details, raw materials and carefully chosen furnishings. Three terraces provide additional space for guests to gather.

Founded by siblings Brice and Marine Bordes, Berthe pairs Brice’s experience in prestigious kitchens with Marine’s leadership of the dining room and restaurant. Its menu changes with the seasons and market produce, bringing traditional French cooking together with modern touches. Dishes are made in-house, including sauces, accompaniments and desserts, and feature seasonal vegetables, meat and fish. The menu also includes starters and options for children under 12; a seasonal signature is the chef’s reimagined vol-au-vent. Guests can enjoy a selection of fine wines and rare vintages, as well as private-event bookings.
