About Bertie’s Shirts
Bertie’s Shirts is a vintage football shirt shop and social club in Gateshead’s Railway Quarter, just minutes from Newcastle city centre. It serves football fans and collectors locally, across the North East and worldwide, with a range of authentic classic shirts, including Premier League, European team and national team designs, as well as classic World Cup shirts and rare finds. The shop also offers football memorabilia and gift cards, giving fans a way to choose a shirt for their collection or as a present.
Visitors can make the shop a social outing, with free pool on a tournament-standard table and a gaming station featuring a PS5 alongside vintage Nintendo and SEGA consoles. Food and drinks include stotties, snacks, ramen, locally sourced coffee, soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits.
