Bert Jansch

Bert Jansch’s official website celebrates the life, music and lasting influence of the legendary guitarist. It serves as a hub for news, recordings, media and information about his musical catalogue, including releases spanning his career and later archival collections. Featured titles include The Ornament Tree, The Black Swan, Edge of a Dream and Crimson Moon, alongside live recordings and Bert Jansch At The BBC, an extensive collection of rare and previously unreleased performances.

The site also highlights Bert Jansch songbooks published by Hal Leonard. Their transcriptions present his music through guitar tablature, standard notation, chords, melodies and lyrics, helping musicians explore his distinctive style and technique. The website connects visitors with the Bert Jansch Foundation, whose charitable aim is to support the next generation of acoustic musicians through early-career and educational opportunities.
