Aileen Carrigan, the Principal and Founder of Bespoke Transit Solutions, is dedicated to creating thoughtful and people-centric transportation solutions. As a small consultancy based in Colorado, Aileen offers a range of urban transport research, design, and planning services to organizations, cities, transit agencies, and consultants worldwide. Bespoke Transit Solutions is a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) with the state of Colorado, Los Angeles Metro, and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) with Denver's Regional Transportation District (RTD).

They are also recognized as a Minority/Women Business Enterprise with the City and County of Denver. Aileen's expertise lies in designing and implementing transit services that cater to the diverse needs of the public, including pedestrians, bicyclists, women, youth, and individuals with disabilities. She brings a user's perspective to the design of passenger information systems, transit infrastructure, and service planning, ensuring a seamless and accessible experience for all.

With an extensive research background, Aileen's work focuses on the social, environmental, and public health impacts of transport, cost-benefit analysis of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems, best practices in public transit marketing and communications, and BRT implementation guidelines. Her experience includes leading global research projects at the World Resources Institute and working on the design and implementation of the Rea Vaya BRT system in Johannesburg as a transportation planner. Aileen holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University.
